Join us for a Hook-In
Our Hook-Ins are a gathering place where rug hookers of all skill levels come together to share, learn, and create. It’s a welcoming space filled with like-minded people, each one bringing their unique talents, stories, and inspiration to the table.
We also operate a pop-up shop that is stocked with every essential for rug hookers, from quality wool, colourful yarn and cutters to unique patterns and tools, creating a one-stop haven for all rug hooking needs.

Classes
Rug Hooking 101
Are you ready to embark on a creative journey in the world of rug hooking? Our in-person class, “Rug Hooking 101 – The Next Generation,” is the perfect starting point for beginners and those with minimal experience. This popular course is designed to introduce you to the fundamental steps of designing and completing a beautiful hooked piece.
This is a two (2) consecutive day workshop

Denim jackets have had their ups and downs in the fashion world, but they always seem to make a stylish return.
Whether it was the cool, rebellious vibe of your younger years, a statement piece during a big life change, or just a trusty favorite, there’s a good chance you’ve got one hiding in your closet.
Well, now’s the time to bring it back to life—let them become your next rug hooking project!

Learning to Dye

Dive into the world of wool dyeing with our hands-on workshop designed for beginners and enthusiasts ready to expand their skills. During this class, you’ll learn essential dye techniques, including casserole dyeing with wool, dip dyeing with yarn and an unique method of natural dyeing.
Each participant will work on and take home:
- 1/2 yard of Dorr Natural wool
- Three 3-ply skeins of MacAusland’s Natural Yarn
All dyeing supplies, including both natural and acid dyes, are provided. The class also supplies essential safety and dyeing equipment such as gloves, aprons, dye pots, and masks.
Cost: $175. plus tax
Workshop is limited to 6 participants.
sky Dyeing

Discover the art of capturing the beauty of the sky in our special rug hooking dye course! Whether it’s the soft colours of dawn, the fiery shades of sunset, or the crisp blues of a midday sky, this workshop teaches you how to paint breathtaking skyscapes on wool fabric.
Participants will learn to plan their colors, measure their materials, and dive hands-on into the dye pot to bring their visions to life. Perfect for all skill levels, this course is especially valuable for those looking to personalize their landscape patterns with a one-of-a-kind sky.
Each participant will work on and take home:

We offer workshops to hone specific rug hooking skills. Our workshops are 3.5 hours long and are designed to teach the hooker how to learn or perfect a certain skill or technique. It is best described like a crash course, taught by an experienced hooker, in one of the following areas:

- Digital Technology and Rug Hooking
Pop-Up Wool Shop
A Pop-Up Wool Shop is rug hooker’s dream come to life! It’s a temporary, one-stop shop stocked full of everything a rug hooker could wish for. Our pop-ups are brimming with wool in every shade imaginable, yarns that inspire, patterns, linens, hooks, scissors and a whole lot more.
We accept most major credit cards, debit and cash.
