Our pre-cut linen, whose edges have been serged to prevent fraying, is just like an artist’s blank canvas. Our rug maker’s canvases are available in two sizes. Be sure to choose a size that accommodates your pattern and also fits your rug hooking frame. We recommend adding at least 4 inches (10.16 cm) on all sides of your pattern to ensure the canvas fits on your frame.
Pre-serged canvases are available in two sizes, with custom sizes upon request at Periwinklelaine@gmail.com.
Our traditional linen, made from the flax plant, is 60 inches wide and is known for its durability and smooth texture. It is a popular choice for rug hookers and can accommodate the following wool strip sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6 (threads per inch 13 x 13).
