Course Overview
Discover the art of capturing the beauty of the sky in our special rug hooking dye course! Whether it’s the soft colours of dawn, the fiery shades of sunset, or the crisp blues of a midday sky, this workshop teaches you how to paint breathtaking skyscapes on wool fabric. Participants will learn to plan their colors, measure their materials, and dive into the dye pot to bring their visions to life. Perfect for all skill levels, this course is especially valuable for those looking to personalize their landscape patterns with a one-of-a-kind sky.
Participants will receive 1/4 yard of natural wool to dye and a blank linen canvas (18 x 24″) on which to hook their painted sky. An apron, mask, and gloves will be distributed to ensure a safe and enjoyable dyeing experience. At the end of the day you’ll take home your beautifully hand-dyed skies.
Workshop is limited to 6 participants.
