Lori-Ann Lingley, a retired teacher, has artistry coursing through her veins. In 2018, after retiring from 34 years of teaching, Lori-Ann discovered her deep love for watercolor and fiber art, realizing that she could infuse her own creativity into these mediums. Her artistic education, obtained through courses in drawing and painting at her local seniors’ college, seamlessly blended with her work in rug hooking. As a plein air painter, she thrives on the inspiration provided by the great outdoors, capturing the raw beauty of landscapes with each brushstroke. Beyond her plein air pursuits, Lori-Ann’s artistic talents extend to the intricate world of rug hooking pattern design, where her keen eye for detail and deep understanding of design shine through in every creation. She continues to create daily with paint and wool, leaving her mark on the world through her vibrant and intricate artwork.
