On a sunny and cloudless day, the colour of the sky is a brilliant and vivid shade of blue. This clear, bright blue is often referred to as “sky blue” and can evoke feelings of calmness and happiness.
Our Sky Blue Wool is available in ¼, ½, and 1-yard cuts. This hand-dyed wool has been dyed with one colour (sky blue) and it mixes with the natural wool’s character to create shades, shadows and wisps of clouds – all to create a a delightful sky of blue.
One of the most challenging aspects of our work at Periwinkle Laine is capturing the rich colours of our dyed wool. In our pursuit to do so, we display our wool in various settings, often highlighting the picturesque beauty of our Island (so maybe you will visit:). However, these photos can be influenced by factors beyond our control. Your computer and its settings, as well as our camera’s configurations, can sometimes alter the true colours we strive to show you.
